About these terms
These Terms of Use apply to the Ugly Flower website and purchases made through our online store. Please read them alongside our Shipping & Returns policy and Privacy Policy. If you have a question before ordering, contact us using the details below.
Using our website
Use this website lawfully and respect the rights of others. Do not attempt to interfere with its security, introduce harmful code or access accounts or information without permission. When placing an order, provide accurate contact and delivery details and use a payment method you are authorised to use.
Products & sizing
Read the product description, included items and Sizing Guide before placing your order. Our size calculator provides a guide based on your measurements; nail shape and curvature also affect fit. Contact us if you need help choosing a size.
We aim to show our products accurately. Colours may appear differently on different screens. As each press-on nail is handmade, there may be some minor variation between the product photos and specific batch production. This does not limit your rights if a product is faulty, materially different from its description or otherwise fails to meet applicable consumer guarantees. Follow the product and adhesive instructions, including our How To guide, for application, removal and care.
Prices & payment
Prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD). The total price, including delivery charges and any applicable taxes, is shown at checkout before you pay. Available payment methods are also displayed at checkout.
We may update prices for future purchases. A later price change will not change the price of an existing order. If we discover a pricing or listing error affecting your order, we will contact you to agree on a solution. We will not charge an additional amount or substitute a product without your agreement.
Orders & availability
Products are subject to availability. If we cannot fulfil your order because an item is unavailable, payment cannot be processed or there are reasonable concerns about an unauthorised transaction, we will contact you promptly. Any amount paid for products we cannot supply will be refunded. We will not substitute an item without your agreement.
If you need to change an order or correct an address, contact us as soon as possible. We will check what can be changed before dispatch. This does not limit any cancellation or other rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.
Shipping & delivery
Orders are dispatched from Melbourne, Australia, and we currently ship within Australia only. Processing information, delivery details and tracking arrangements are set out in our Shipping & Returns policy. Made-to-order and pre-order dispatch windows are provided at checkout.
Delivery estimates are a guide. If your parcel is delayed or missing, contact us so we can help investigate and arrange an appropriate resolution.
Returns & consumer rights
For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect sizing selections. This restriction does not apply where you have a remedy under Australian Consumer Law. See our Shipping & Returns policy for how to report a faulty, damaged or incorrect item.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee or other right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
Our content
The Ugly Flower name, branding, original photographs, artwork and website content belong to us or are used with permission. You may view and use the website for personal shopping. Unless permitted by law, you must obtain permission before reproducing or using this material. These terms do not give you ownership of our intellectual property.
Privacy & external links
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. We may link to third-party websites for convenience. Those websites have their own terms and privacy practices, which you should review before using them. A link does not by itself mean we endorse that website.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time and will show the revision date on this page. Updates apply prospectively. The terms in place when you placed an order continue to apply to that order unless we both agree otherwise or the law requires a change.
